Day-Of Stationery

There are many types of day-of wedding stationery, and their main goal is two-fold: to ensure the smooth running of your day (such as directing people to the correct table), and also to complement the aesthetic that you and your other half are after.

Envelope Calligraphy

I also offer wedding envelope calligraphy. Often the wedding invitation is the first thing your guests will receive in terms of your wedding, and thus it really sets the tone of your wedding. Receiving handwritten calligraphy definitely adds a personal, luxurious touch to your wedding.

Process.

Let’s chat about your wedding.

After you submit an enquiry, we can start talking about what your vision is, what your wedding style is. Depending on the complexity of what you’re after, this may require a phone call to talk through your requirements. Of course, I will also provide a quote based on what you require for your wedding.

Design time.

Depending on what you’re after, there may be 1-2 rounds of design and layout adjustments. Items such as menus, wedding welcome signs, table seating charts will almost always require this.

Calligraphy.

If we had a design adjustment round, after you sign off on the draft, I get started on your calligraphy work! Processing times can vary depending on the item, but in general I work towards your wedding date. For example, with place cards, I start on these after your guest list is (at least almost) finalised. For wedding welcome signs, I’ll be able to start working on these as soon as you know your date!

Review.

After everything is complete, there is a round of reviews where small adjustments can be made and spellcheck is conducted.

Shipping or Local Pick Up

When everything is good to go, I then ship your wedding stationery, or if you opt to do local pick up, we will now organise a time for you to come drop by. Local pick up is generally recommended (if you can) for larger signage due to its fragile nature.
